For fescue and bluegrass we'd rather book you for September than take your money in July — heat-stressed turf doesn't recover from aeration and summer seed rarely survives. Zoysia is the opposite: it wants the heat.

When is the best time to aerate and seed?
Early fall is the sweet spot — warm soil, cool air, and less weed pressure means seed establishes fast and roots go deep before winter. Spring is the second-best window. We book both seasons, and fall calendars fill first.
How do you know my lawn's square footage?
Deep Lawn estimates your lawn's square footage from satellite imagery, excluding the house, driveway, walks, and beds. Review the lawn outline in the quote tool and adjust it if needed, or tell us and we'll verify it before the job.
Do I need to be home?
No. We just need gate access and any dogs inside. If your yard is locked, leave a code in the booking notes and we'll handle it.
What about my sprinkler heads and invisible fence?
Flag them before we arrive, or point them out in the notes and we'll flag them ourselves. Aerators and sprinkler heads are the one bad combination in this line of work, and we take it seriously.
Should I leave the plugs on the lawn?
Yes. They look rough for a week or two, then rain and mowing break them down and return that soil to the surface. Raking them off throws away the best part of the service.
Fescue, bluegrass, or zoysia — does it change anything?
It changes the month. Tall fescue and bluegrass get aerated and seeded in the fall. Zoysia is warm-season, so it gets aerated in June while it's growing hard and it doesn't get overseeded at all. If you're not sure which you have, send a photo and we'll tell you.
Do I have to book all three services?
No. Choose single or double aeration, compost top dressing, or an aeration-and-seed package. Complete Restoration adds starter fertilizer and ¼-inch compost. Overseeding is available with aeration only.
